The flight was great and, after a somewhat slow passage through immigration, our Tour liaison Roland Cox met us at the airport (more about him later!) To pass the time, we got chatting to the manager of Bat for Lashes in the immigration queue - nice bloke!A hair-raising journey across this beautiful island saw us brave rush-hour in downtown Castries (the capital of St Lucia) before arriving at our hotel in the late afternoon.
They have made us very welcome and put on a delicious meal for dinner by the pool. Tired, but happy to be here, we retired 'early' after a 21 hour day - and we are looking forward to exploring the area tomorrow, our first match being on Sunday.
